Craft show season ends for us after Christmas and I only post on Facebook during non-showtimes. Our first show will probably be in October so I will be back sometime in the fall. In the meantime here is one new piece for you to see. It will be going to our first fall show.<p></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-43236528631717343462022-12-03T20:06:00.000-05:002022-12-03T20:06:19.707-05:00Are There Green Flowers?<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdmMFgz6cKcZ9kGG4jjbEnaXEZ8Wvl6Em4spZ--zGcQO29_kvzxyDqh0dHtFMYvCdzav_W3vrbz6eRswpNvgFOU1wB_EzWyrmWJBPQrdHtE82IiP67K5zAb0_lLAsH92gzRU5YqrIwXlDEjBMUHm5GlmronrUykwwZdeYzUYzkD2DNG_KCUEp03cafhg/s1959/green%20flower.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1477" data-original-width="1959" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdmMFgz6cKcZ9kGG4jjbEnaXEZ8Wvl6Em4spZ--zGcQO29_kvzxyDqh0dHtFMYvCdzav_W3vrbz6eRswpNvgFOU1wB_EzWyrmWJBPQrdHtE82IiP67K5zAb0_lLAsH92gzRU5YqrIwXlDEjBMUHm5GlmronrUykwwZdeYzUYzkD2DNG_KCUEp03cafhg/s320/green%20flower.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I really like this piece. Yes, the flowers are a mint green so maybe some don't think it is realistic. But it is such a pretty shade of green and looks so good with all the clear glass. If you look closer, you will see that the clear glass actually has texture and there are two types of texture.<p></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-55668960027515012732022-11-21T13:07:00.000-05:002022-11-21T13:07:18.799-05:00Rain Girl<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcznHTS4X2nMTwPH7rZGNvNB0JlrwdxlLFOQEJPZJYFH1oo1ZcsRYo0QCjltWePUyciRby-YutEtutya8DsrtcZjBOWh27MNYzeXRsYztZ3HwNIigpajq_n9n3dZG9rq4Oed2LdqvGxd6aAhqoJq-rQMewvQcmhmtHu_44jFEieDyWnpXT4KFVKZw4Uw/s1939/raingirl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1939" data-original-width="1683" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcznHTS4X2nMTwPH7rZGNvNB0JlrwdxlLFOQEJPZJYFH1oo1ZcsRYo0QCjltWePUyciRby-YutEtutya8DsrtcZjBOWh27MNYzeXRsYztZ3HwNIigpajq_n9n3dZG9rq4Oed2LdqvGxd6aAhqoJq-rQMewvQcmhmtHu_44jFEieDyWnpXT4KFVKZw4Uw/s320/raingirl.jpg" width="278" /></a></div><span style="font-family: arial;"> It has been a year since I posted on our blog. Unless something comes up that interests us it will be our first show of the fall season. Looking forward to it since it was canceled last year due to the pandemic. <p></p>This is one of the cards that my card group made at our June card class. It is so easy to make yet really makes a big impression. The shells are made using paper that has a pearlized finish.<br /><p><br /></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-74662492298052160912021-05-12T14:36:00.000-04:002021-05-12T14:36:07.385-04:00Dragon Panel<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-82nTPVaaXeU/YJwfdeYsDsI/AAAAAAAAD70/cp6zWK2z27gIteo0hPW82vMeZUC2EB4GwCLcBGAsYHQ/s960/dragon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="928" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-82nTPVaaXeU/YJwfdeYsDsI/AAAAAAAAD70/cp6zWK2z27gIteo0hPW82vMeZUC2EB4GwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/dragon.jpg" /></a></div>It looks like maybe we are going to have some craft shows to attend this year. We don't have any scheduled yet but at least we are getting notices that places are in the planning stage. So I guess it is time for us to get working again. I will be posting more often as we make new things.<p></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-88487115651528634892021-03-06T17:43:00.001-05:002021-06-01T02:58:15.711-04:00Kumquat Festival<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GlnDCeh7Sic/YEQE7WeC44I/AAAAAAAAD7E/Z23OoMuTD3UXH7kEpTp88WSo8cM-WpfuACLcBGAsYHQ/s960/pencil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="690" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GlnDCeh7Sic/YEQE7WeC44I/AAAAAAAAD7E/Z23OoMuTD3UXH7kEpTp88WSo8cM-WpfuACLcBGAsYHQ/s320/pencil.jpg" /></a></div><p></p><div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;"><span style="color: #050505; font-family: "Segoe UI Historic", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">I planned to make cups with hand sanitizer this past craft season. In fact I began making them in the later part of 2019 before it became a necessity. The 2020 season would have been a perfect time to sell them, but unfortunately we didn’t do any shows because of Covid. The Kumquat Festival was moved to this month and we are participating. I just had to change my design for the sanitizer. Here is what I made for teacher gifts. I will have them at the Kumquat Festival, March 27 in Dade City.</span></div>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-4614954493572240032020-12-29T18:24:00.001-05:002020-12-29T18:24:23.348-05:00Hair Curlers<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-01pz22E9S2g/X-u6N99pNjI/AAAAAAAAD6M/F5zKmVR9tjINylyNudoQpWVOvew7Ra6MQCLcBGAsYHQ/s960/132389923_2859128137697608_6339094215757569245_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="792" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-01pz22E9S2g/X-u6N99pNjI/AAAAAAAAD6M/F5zKmVR9tjINylyNudoQpWVOvew7Ra6MQCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/132389923_2859128137697608_6339094215757569245_n.jpg" /></a></div><span style="background-color: white; color: #050505; font-family: "Segoe UI Historic", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">I can remember curling my hair with rollers. If you would have seen me coloring her, you would have thought I was making a huge mess. The first step is to color all the hair orange. The darker colors are put on by making dots on top of the orange leaving some of the orange showing. This was my first attempt and I think it turned out decent. </span><p></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-39750488023675241322020-12-11T13:55:00.005-05:002020-12-11T13:55:50.835-05:00Christmas Poinsettias<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fXfczB0MMOo/X9PANLx8-2I/AAAAAAAAD5s/1ZF8MOXn9a8QRCCi7qapsPQjCwUOIK1cwCLcBGAsYHQ/s700/IMG_3780.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="525" data-original-width="700" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fXfczB0MMOo/X9PANLx8-2I/AAAAAAAAD5s/1ZF8MOXn9a8QRCCi7qapsPQjCwUOIK1cwCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/IMG_3780.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>Here are a few Christmas cards I made using the velour designer paper from Stampin' Up. Shortly, they will be falling off the trees and will be raked into piles to be trashed or recycled as mulch. Where we live, the leaves are still green and will not fall until the spring. For the next few posts, I will be featuring leaves.<p></p>kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-14388337748178599842020-08-16T13:57:00.002-04:002020-12-23T23:19:37.522-05:00Pineapples<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8sAVwEE_XCc/Xzly5PZ3ynI/AAAAAAAAD3c/gPcwY-mIt_sVFoeCMimNuP8xilpJ3iz1ACLcBGAsYHQ/s700/113.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="700" data-original-width="525" height="410" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8sAVwEE_XCc/Xzly5PZ3ynI/AAAAAAAAD3c/gPcwY-mIt_sVFoeCMimNuP8xilpJ3iz1ACLcBGAsYHQ/w307-h410/113.jpg" width="307" /></a><span face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"> </span><span face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The format for posting has changed since the last time I posted. I know I haven't been doing a good job posting on my blog. I post a lot of projects on my personal Facebook page and also on our business Facebook page. I need to remember to also post here. If you are looking for one of our projects, try our Facebook page, Kilroy Krafts. I am going to try to post here more often too.<br />

I have a series of poppy cards I worked on last week. I may have gotten a bit carried away with how many I made. You may get tired of seeing my posts of them and hope I go back to not posting.kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1192267771932555799.post-1560229697334030002020-04-12T11:38:00.000-04:002020-04-12T11:38:15.745-04:00Happy Easter<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Jim had some glass left from a special order he made. They may want another window made something like this but a little bigger. He only had enough glass to make a small one but he wanted to get an idea of how it would look. This is the end result. kilroyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03613698331463720652noreply@blogger.com0
