Thanks Jim
Is it strange to thank your husband? Are you wondering why I am thanking him? I am going to keep you in suspense for a few days. I will be posting some pictures in a few days to show you what the thank you is for.

The Red Bird and Buddies
Isn't this one even cuter than the one from the other day? I really enjoy doing punch art so I sure hope my splitcoast friends keep designing it. Such a great site for paper crafters.

The Angry Birds Card
I wish I was clever at coming up with these punch art cards. I can copy them just fine, but I have no creative imagination. Truth be told, I can barely play this game either.

My Family
Thinking of all my family and want to say hello to all of them. When you live in Florida, you have to have a palm tree stamp.

Babies, Babies, and More Babies
Jim has more brothers and sisters than I do which leads to more nieces and nephew. The age of the nieces and nephews in both of our families ranges from 40+ to 12. So it seems like there is always one of them pregnant. That is why you see so many baby cards on our blog.

Get Well Cards Just in Case
I try to have a stack of cards on hand just in case I need them. Both of these cards were inspired by SCS. The flowered one is like one that Karen made but she used beautiful big bows that I can not mail on hers. The sunset was inspired by a lady whose screen name is zipper.

Birthday Punch Art
Does it look like you are seeing double? Well, you are! If you look close you will see that the pictures are just slightly different from each other.

Deb's Birth Month Too
Our sister Deb also has a birthday this month. She likes purple but I don't have any purple cards made up, so orange it is.

June Graduates
One last graduation card since I haven't posted any in what many consider to be the traditional month for graduates. I graduated from high school a LONG time ago on a June 3 in undisclosed year.

New Stampin' Up! Ink
I have always had a hard time using this daisy stamp. I could never get a good ink coverage on them unless I used Versamark along with the colored ink. This one is perfect with the ink only. The ink is the new inks by Stampin' Up! So far I only bought the 5 new incolors but I am going to be replacing some of my other colors that I use a lot on solid stamps.

Summer Festivals
We have fairs and festivals all year long in Florida. When I lived in the North back in my childhood, summertime was when all the festivals happened. They were mainly sponsored by the local fire departments as fundraisers. There were many little towns near me so there was a festival just about every weekend in the summer. Remember those big suckers you would buy just because they were pretty. The suckers on my card even look like they are wrapped in cellophane. I used crystal effects to make them look wrapped.

June Brides
This is very different from my usual wedding cards, but when I saw it on splitcoast I thought it was so unique. Her model for the design was a pair of salt and pepper shakers. I have the perfect couple getting married in October that I am going to give this card. I did notice though that I neglected to give them eyes so I need to work on that.

HB Ryan
Happy Birthday Ryan. I sure hope things start to turn around for all of the cousins. It seems like right now things are not going well for a lot of you. Try to find a way to celebrate anyway and give all the girls a big hug.

Looking Forward to November
I just signed up for a class that I will be taking in November with Michelle Zindorf. I am so excited that I was able to get into not one but two of her classes. I have tried before when she was anyplace in the state and the classes were always full. She does wonderful work with a brayer and sponges. This is a card that I CASED of hers but I use only sponges. I can never get the brayer to do a decent job so this is what I hope to learn.

The Candy Shop
Another thing my brothers and I liked to do in the summer was go to the little store that was almost next door to our house. That store is long gone just like the penny candy that we would buy there.

Vintage Dress
My friend Sylvia went to a scrapbook show in Orlando a couple of weeks ago. She took pictures of some of the sample cards and brought them for me to see. Although the creator used a different corset stamp mine is very similar. Do you get it that that the ribbon is suppose to a dress?

Summer Pinwheels
When I was young, my mom would like to buy us pinwheels in the summer. We would want to play with them, but she always put one on our fence so that when the wind blew it would spin around. Do you get it that the pinwheels are on a fence in the first picture?

Punch Dog
His greeting is a little blurry here, but it says Happy Birthday. I am always thinking about cards my friends can make. This one is for Anna and her two babies, baby dogs that is.

Happy Birthday Ken
Today is my brother's birthday. He has also retired as a middle school band director after teaching 35 years. He was tougher than me and lasted longer. I am wondering if he will really stayed retired or if come fall he will be back at the podium.
I saw these cards last year at a Stampin' Up meeting. She made her hammock with ribbon and I used recycled onion bags.

June Birthdays
Let me see if I can remember all the June birthdays without looking at my calendar. A lot of them are male so I think I should have picked a more masculine card. Oh well, they don't read my blog very much anyway. Happy Birthday to brother Ken, sister Deb, and nephews Bill and Ryan.
