Happy Halloween

This card is very similar to the one I made for our family this year. The colors were reversed and theirs had a Glittered letter B.  Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

Our neighbor always has a little party on Halloween.  It starts about 5 PM and it gives the parents a chance to get the children to eat something before they head out to collect candy.  We always go over not only to eat but to see all the neighborhood kids before we are invaded by surrounding areas.  Headed out soon.

Island Hotel Cedar Key

This weekend we will be in Cedar Key for our craft show.  It is a two day show so if you can't make it on Saturday, we are there Sunday as well.  They are ready for the show even though a month ago they had a hurricane come through.  We and several of our crafting friends stay at the Island Hotel.  If you know anything about the hotel you will understand why I posted this particular glass piece.  Don't get it?  Just ask.

Keystone Show

Today is our first craft show of the season.  I always have my best selection of cards at this show.  I have very few Halloween cards, so if that is what you are looking for, get there early.  Show starts at 9AM.

Crazy Halloween Cat

I don't make many Halloween cards because we only do 2 shows that are far enough away from October 31.  This one is made using the Tim Holtz crazy cat set and accessories.  There are accessories for so many occasions as you will see if you follow my blog at all.  I will have a selection of Halloween cards at the Keystone Church show in Odessa this weekend.

Swirlly Pumpkins

This card along with the one I posted a few days ago, were part of my September card class.  I know it isn't October yet and it says Halloween.  We always make cards at least a month before the holiday.  That gives them time to get them made and written in a timely fashion.

Our First November Show

For some reason, we couldn't find a show for this Saturday, maybe because it is Halloween.  So instead, we are doing a show on Sunday,  November 1.  It will be held at Innisbrook, yep the golf community.  It is an indoor show though so don't look for any white tents.

 Happy Halloween to everyone.

Happy Halloween

Some of the little girls in our neighborhood have the best costumes.  The moms make their costumes and they are usually princesses.  Their dresses are so cute and full of ruffles.
The past two Halloweens I have had band practice so I didn't get to see them.  Looking forward to helping with the candy this year so I can see the great costumes.

Three Little Ghosts

Our sister was here recently.  She is not a card maker but does a lot of other crafts.  I thought she would enjoy making a few cards.  I made this one but she made one for each of her children and their families.

It's All About the Shoes

I CASEd this from my upline's daughter.  She was home one weekend and she and her mom had a girl's night and made some cards.  Mom posted this on FB and since I hadn't used the set yet I gave it a try.  She did use different DSP but other than that I copied just about everything.  Thanks Gina.

My favorite character in Wizard of Oz is the wicked witch.  I thought she was such a good actress so with the green on the card I thought of her.  Who is your favorite character in WoO?

Frankie and the Mummy

I have started working on Halloween cards to take to the shop.  This is not the card I am sending to my family but one of these characters is on the card they will receive.  This was such a great set because of it had 5 different characters so I was able to use the set multiple years on my family cards.  This will be the last year I will use it.  I already bought two new sets that I will use the next few years.

Belated Halloween Cards

I just realized that I never posted any Halloween cards. So before I post any Thanksgiving cards, I thought I would post some Halloween just a few days late. These are not the cards I sent to my family. Only they get to see them. I was in a swap about a month ago and received a lot of these die cuts as part of the swap so those cards are one of a kind.

Frankie and Frances

Whitney was here a few weeks ago and we made these cute treat boxes. I made a second one to give to a friend for driving me somewhere. One side of the box is Frankie (get it, Frankenstein) and the other is Frances. They are cute but easy to make with the Top Note die cut and circle punches.

Halloween Cards

These are not cards that I will be sending to my family, so it is ok if they see them before halloween. The haunted house cards are some variations of the card I sent last year our family.

Halloween Tiles

These are tiles that were bought at Lowe's, the shiny style that were used in bathrooms and kitchens. They are drilled, stamped with white ink, and a ribbon put through the holes and knotted well. They make a cute halloween decoration. I love the Home is Where the Haunt is set by Stampin Up, shown on the right. It is spooky for Halloween, but makes a nice new home card when done in white on pastel papers.
