The First Valentine Card

I am starting to work on valentines now that Christmas is over. I kind of like this one even though it isn't my usual lacey vintage look of valentine. I've got a long time to decide which one I make will be my family card.

Blood Donor

Jim is a blood donor. This past week when he came home from donating, he gave me a sticker. It was in recognition of his donations. He has donated 60 gallons of blood to our local blood bank. Additionally, he has donated blood when he attended the Coast Guard Academy and has no record of how much he donated there. He also donated a pint when we were in New Mexico at the balloon festival because he wanted a special pin that was only for blood donors that day. Are you a blood donor? Starting to Make Valentines

My Christmas decorations inside the house are still up.  The outside decorations have been down 10 days or so but DH has been working on a glass project that has to be done by Monday and I can not put the trees away.  I still turn on the lights too so the neighbors probably think we are a bit crazy.  But it is time to work on valentines so here are a few.  I will be making these with my card group this month.  Hopefully the trees will be down before they come.
