When we were in Ireland, I found some candy that is shaped like a pig's head with all the features. It reminded me of this stamp set so of course I had to buy some. I packaged it up and put a topper on it and put one of the pigs from this set on the topper. I took it to two of my nephews when we went to visit them.
How funny that I didn't notice the shadow from the screen until the picture was blown up on the blog.

Happy Birthday Mom
Today would have been my mom's birthday. I know those of you who follow my blog think why does she wish her mom HB every year. Well I just can't help it. I still think of her everyday and miss her even though it has been over 6 years that she has been gone. She had a small cat collection, well very small compared to my MILs collection. They both would have liked this card.

Wicked!
I dislike the over use of the word "Wicked" by northerners especially those in the New England area. I hardly ever use the word so it bothers me that I used it in my title. But, I was thinking of the play because of the shoes on my card. I saw these on Cardshark's website and had to try one of my own.

Kick Up Your Heels
I made this card base for one of my ice cream cards and it didn't look good to me. So I put the base aside until I thought of what I was going to do with it. Then I saw my new boot set and thought if would fit perfectly.

Congrats
I needed a few congratulations cards for my stash, no one in particular just like to be prepared. I saw a card like this one on splitcoast and decided it would be a quick easy card to make. It was. Just a few punches, some ribbon and a brad and finished.

Hanukkah
I make a couple of Hanukkah cards every year. I am always afraid I am going to make some kind of an error on them since I am not Jewish. I CASED this one from Yappa on splitcoast so I know it is alright to send someone.

Christmas Ornaments
I wasn't sure about ordering this set but I am glad that I did. The ornaments are made using the stamp set and then cut out using the new matching framelits that Stampin Up! has started offering. I have made some gift tags using this set too and they came out really professional looking.

Woodland Walk
One of the things I like about Stampin Up! paper is how well it co-ordinates. The green stripe and vanilla with green and brown dots in picture number one, the kraft color with vanilla flowers in card #2, and the green paper with the vanilla flowers in card #3 were all in the same package of paper. The circle in the fourth card was also made with paper in the stack.

Happy Birthday May
Today would have been my MIL, Jim's mom's birthday. She loved my cards and saved everyone of them. We miss both of our mom's very much and wish they were here to say HB to them.

Stampin' Up! CASE
This card was in the monthly publication that SU demos receive. I changed the background stamp, designer paper banners, and the embellishments because I didn't have what they used on their card. This was an easy card to make. I am already planning a card using Christmas paper in the same layout.

Ginger Blossoms
The designer paper on this card is from the same package of Stampin' Up! Ginger Blossom DSP as I used on the one sheet wonder a few days ago. The paper belongs to one of my card buddies and she gave me a few sheets of the different styles. Thanks Candy.

Some Christmas Ideas
I won this paper pack at our recent downline meeting so of course I had to come home and try it. Both cards have the same layout but I used different stamp sets to see what each would look like.

A Few More Bottles

Bottle Covers
I have been working on some projects other than cards the past few days. Here are some tags for wine bottles. They could also be used on other types of bottles.

One Sheet Wonder
This technique is called a one sheet wonder because you use one sheet of SU designer paper to make all these cards. Of course you need other paper and embellishments too. The graph paper is the layout that I designed using a combination of patterns I have seen on line and a few of my own. I have seen people make as many as 16 cards out of one sheet but they are a little skimpy on the DSP for me.
