Now that spring is here, it is time to start thinking about Easter. I don't know about you but for me it seems like we just had Christmas. So maybe these flowers and the bunny will get me in the mood for Easter. I love doing punch art and there are so many good ideas on Splitcoast to look at. I think the bunny idea was from AmyK. The flowers I have made before just with different paper.

Happy St Patrick's Day
I did not make any St Patrick's Day cards this year. My family is going to be disappointed when they realize they are not late, just not coming. The time got away from me and I didn't feel like rushing. This is a card I made a few years ago.

Happy Birthday Tom
When my brother was young, he liked to go bow hunting with a neighbor. Thank goodness he didn't come home with anything. The card I made him this year had a deer on the front of it. I have previously posted this card so here is another one instead for today. It is kind of woodsy.
It is also our niece's bday today.

Happy Birthday Patty
Today would have been my SIL Patty's birthday. I have been thinking of her all day. She died unexpectedly about two weeks after her birthday last year. Cause of death was uncertain but could have been a blood clot or infection due to a recent operation or a heart attack. I am sure she had no idea she was so sick. She went to work Friday and complained about feeling like she had a stomach virus on the way home. Ladies please remember that you may not feel chest pain if you have clot, infection, or heart attack. Sudden stomach illness or fever could be something major.

Tea with Friends
The designer paper that you have seen in most of the tea pictures was one of the free items I got this year during Stampin Up Sale a Bration. It is one of my favorite papers ever and I stocked up on it while I could.

Tea for Two
I am a tea drinker. I keep a gallon pitcher of iced tea in the frig at all times. But sometimes when it is cold, I pour some of it in a cup and heat it in the microwave. When I saw the Tea Shoppe stamp set in the Stampin Up mini catalog I knew it would be added to my stash. The next several posts will what I have made using this set. Thanks to all the ladies on Splitcoast for their wonderful ideas.

Another New Nephew
Our niece Heather recently had her second baby boy. His name is Mason and this is the card that I sent to her. The window, smoke, and wheels are punches but the rest was free hand cuts.

Snow Card Didn't Work
Earlier I posted a snow day card I sent to my brother. Usually when I send one within a week he has a day off school for a snow day. I didn't work. So on his Valentine I put snow flakes and trees with snow on them. It still didn't work. So I have one more that I may send him and then I am giving up for this year. It is called a telescoping card because of the way it opens.

Happy Anniversary
When my husband saw this card in the Stampin Up magazine, he asked me to make one like it so he could see what it looked like IRL. So I made two of them.
Today is our 35th anniversary, so this card is for him. Of course I don't write anything in it because then I can use it again for another occasion. I can't believe that it has been 35 years since we traveled to Las Vegas to get married.

February 14 is Here
Happy Valentine's Day. Two different valentines, one non-traditional colors. I found both of the ideas on my favorite website, splitcoaststampers.
Today would have been my great-grandmother's about 137th birthday.

Punched Valentines
These two cards have a lot of punching and not much stamping. The card on the left is made with the doily Sizzlet and the heart embosslits. They are new to the Stampin Up selection of tools. The originals are on Splitcoast.
I do change a few things when I use a card for ideas. As an example the punch angel of the original had different designer paper as a background, the dress and wings were embossed, and it used a different stamp set.

Some More Valentines
I sure made a lot of Valentines this year. There were so many nice ones posted on Splitcoast that I wanted to try them all. I didn't but I have a lot saved to try next year. Of course next year there will also be others that I want to make too. Good thing we have a lot of brothers and sisters. I can't find the paper where I wrote down who did the original on these. I do remember that Gretchen Baron did the one on the far right.

Love Bug
I had never used this die before I loaned it to my niece to use along with the bee. I saw a card with heart flowers and two lady bugs on splitcoast and this is my interpretation of it. I didn't put a greeting so it can be used for many different occasions.

Valentine Month is Here
These valentines look so nice IRL and they are quick and easy to make. They were inspired by a lady who goes by lisaadd on splitcoast.

Poppin' Pastels
The card on the top left is colored with chalk or pastels as sophisticated artists say. It was inspired by a card I saw by Patty Bennett. My group wanted to make a card using some chalk so I searched around for something I thought they would like to make. It turned out really nice. The other two cards, more raspberry tart.
