Bunny Butt

This is suppose to be looking at the bunny from behind.  Can you tell that is his tail?  Jim told me it looked like I had it upside down because he thought the feet were the ears.  Then he wanted to know what the red dot was.  He did not know it was a rhinestone brad.

Bunnies and Chicks

I have seen these bunny and chick cards all over the internet.  I decide it was time for me to try making them.  The body is a SU Sizzix scallop circle die.  Everything else is punches. I love punch art as you probably can tell from how much I do.  I am amazed by the people who come up with these ideas.  I just copy and add little things.

Thinking of Patty

One year ago we learned that our sister Patty had unexpectedly passed.  We are not really sure of the exact date because she lived alone and no one knew she needed help.  She is missed by all of her family.

Christmas All Year Long

Yes I know I should be making Easter cards.  I have some friends that stamp with me who want to get an early start on Christmas card ideas.  So every time they come over we make a Christmas card and a tag or some other project.  Then in the fall they will either have enough cards or will know which one they want to make more of.  This is the card they will make today.

Quilt Cards

These cards were made with scraps of the Everyday Enchantment designer paper that is free with a $50 order from Stampin' Up during SAB.  I love this paper and have about 4 packs of it.  I don't want to waste any of it so I will be making many of these quilt type cards.

Spring Arrives

It really has felt like spring here just about all winter.  I can only think of maybe 5 days that were what I call cold all winter and I am fussy about my temps.  But it is now officially spring.  I hope people in the north don't start having winter now because it has been warm for them all winter too.

Easter is Headed Our Way

Now that spring is here, it is time to start thinking about Easter.  I don't know about you but for me it seems like we just had Christmas.  So maybe these flowers and the bunny will get me in the mood for Easter.  I love doing punch art and there are so many good ideas on Splitcoast to look at.  I think the bunny idea was from AmyK.  The flowers I have made before just with different paper.

Happy St Patrick's Day

I did not make any St Patrick's Day cards this year.  My family is going to be disappointed  when they realize they are not late, just not coming.  The time got away from me and I didn't feel like rushing.  This is a card I made a few years ago.

Happy Birthday Tom

When my brother was young, he liked to go bow hunting with a neighbor.  Thank goodness he didn't come home with anything.  The card I made him this year had a deer on the front of it.  I have previously posted this card so here is another one instead for today.  It is kind of woodsy.
It is also our niece's bday today.

Happy Birthday Patty

Today would have been my SIL Patty's birthday.  I have been thinking of her all day.  She died unexpectedly about two weeks after her birthday last year.  Cause of death was uncertain but could have been a blood clot or infection due to a recent operation or a heart attack.  I am sure she had no idea she was so sick.  She went to work Friday and complained about feeling like she had a stomach virus on the way home.  Ladies please remember that you may not feel chest pain if you have  clot, infection, or heart attack.  Sudden stomach  illness or  fever could be something major.

Tea with Friends

The designer paper that you have seen in most of the tea pictures was one of the free items I got this year during Stampin Up Sale a Bration.  It is one of my favorite papers ever and I stocked up on it while I could.

Smaller Cups of Tea as Well

In addition to the large teacup, this set also has a stamp with three small cups on it.  They are spaced far enough apart that you can use just the single cup if you want.

Tea Cups

Besides the tea set, these cards feature a lot of other new products I recently ordered.  The doily is so pretty but it is a bit of a pain to make.  I really have to work at putting the right number of shims in my Big Shot to get it to cut.

Tea for Two

I am a tea drinker.  I keep a gallon pitcher of iced tea in the frig at all times.  But sometimes when it is cold, I pour some of it in a cup and heat it in the microwave.  When I saw the Tea Shoppe stamp set in the Stampin Up mini catalog I knew  it would be added to my stash.  The next several posts will what I have made using this set.  Thanks to all the ladies on Splitcoast for their wonderful ideas.

Happy Birthday Scott

My nephew plays football and basketball and probably golf too.  His birthday was at the end of January but I am just posting the card that I sent him.  The card did arrive on time, just not on the blog.

Another New Nephew

Our niece Heather recently had her second baby boy.  His name is Mason and this is the card that I sent to her.  The window, smoke, and wheels are punches but the rest was free hand cuts.

Snow Card Didn't Work

Earlier I posted a snow day card I sent to my brother.  Usually when I send one within a week he has a day off school for a snow day.  I didn't work.  So on his Valentine I put snow flakes and trees with snow on them.  It still didn't work.  So I have one more that I may send him and then I am giving up for this year.  It is called a telescoping card because of the way it opens.

Happy Anniversary

When my husband saw this card in the Stampin Up magazine, he asked me to make one like it so he could see what it looked like IRL.  So I made two of them.

Today is our 35th anniversary, so this card is for him.  Of course I don't write anything in it because then I can use it again for another occasion.  I can't believe that it has been 35 years since we traveled to Las Vegas to get married.

February 14 is Here

Happy Valentine's Day.  Two different valentines, one non-traditional colors.  I found both of the ideas on my favorite website, splitcoaststampers.

Today would have been my great-grandmother's about 137th birthday.

Punched Valentines

These two cards have a lot of punching and not much stamping.  The card on the left is made with the doily Sizzlet and the heart embosslits.  They are new to the Stampin Up selection of tools.  The originals are on Splitcoast.

I do change a few things when I use a card for ideas.  As an example the punch angel of the original had different designer paper as a background, the dress and wings were embossed, and it used a different stamp set.
