Look Familiar?

This stamp should look familiar to you if you looked at my Easter posts.  The Easter greeting is attached to the tulips.  I didn't want the Easter greeting, so I used the black marker and just didn't ink the greeting.  I used blender pens and ink to color the tulips.

Religious Sympathy

These crosses should look familiar to you.  I made a card that I published on Good Friday that used the same DSP and cross dies.  I saved the paper that I cut the green DSP cross out of.  If you look close you will see the negative of that cross.  I then cut out the large yellow cross with the same die and adhered it using dimensionals to Then I cut a different cross out of the same yellow and a tiny cross out of the same DSP.  I added a pearl to the center.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all of our friends and family.  This is the card that I sent our brothers and sisters this year.  I hope they liked it.

Holy Saturday

Since Easter is a religious holiday, I always make a few cards with a cross.  I bought this set of dies  for this year.  There are 4 different crosses in the set of dies and I used two of them for this card.

Happy Easter Blossoms

I love this little girl with her flowers and Easter basket.  I use her for Mother's Day cards too by just putting some pearls or flowers inside her basket.  Many people don't even notice that her basket has eggs in it but look close.  That is why I cover them for other occasions. 

Wishing You a Blessed Easter

 

This is the beginning of Holy Week.  I will be spending this week with my brother and my  DH.  We will be spending quality family time together.  When we get together we play games, go to the beach, and eat. I am sure we will spend some time thinking of Easters of the past with our parents.

A Glass Bunny

Since yesterday I posted a paper bunny, I thought today would be a good day to post a glass bunny.  I took some pictures of Jim's glass so I plan to post a few more of his things.  He has been spending a lot of time in his glass room the past month.

Easter Bunny

I enjoy making punch art and have made punch art bunnies each year.  So that they don't look the same I always change some things.  Sometimes it is the orientation of the card or the designer paper.  This year I used the DSP to look like grass and gave the bunny an egg. 

Change of Pace

There will be quite a few Easter cards coming up and I know I've done some darker colored birthday cards so I thought it was time to make something bright.  This can be used for many occasions but I am going to use it for a birthday card.  I like all the bright colors in the banners and grunge marks.

Here are two more of the flip cards that I made.  I thought they looked appropriate to send to guys.  They both have birthday greetings on the inside. 

Beautiful People

I saw a card like this in one issue of Stampin' Success.  It was made with vellum that has gold stripes but I didn't have that paper.  So I embossed with a retired folder that had similar stripes then inked using gold Encore.

Records, Do You Know What They Are?

I finally order the flip thinlette die for the Big Shot.  The outside of the card looks like the left side of the picture.  When you open the card, the circle flips and you see the birthday greetings on the inside.  I have another of these cards made that I will publish in a few days.

Don't be a Crab

It isn't quite beach weather around here, well at least not for me, but this card makes me think of the beach.  Looking forward to May when I will spend some time at the beach.

You Make Me Happy

Now that spring is here, maybe the cold weather is done for those of you that have been having so much snow and cold.  These suns have been popping up all over pinterest and splitcoast so I don't know who first had the idea of using the banner punch for sun rays.  It sure makes a cute card.

An Interesting Tree

I bought this stamp last year when I went to the stamp store in Las Vegas.  I spent a lot of time in the store looking at all the stamps so I felt like I had to buy a few stamps.  This is one of several that I bought.  Unfortunately sympathy cards are always needed around here.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my baby brother Tom.  It is also our niece Amy's birthday today.  I am so excited that we will be seeing Amy, her DH, and 3 young children when they visit Disney.  We have not seen them in awhile.

Another thinking of You Card

 

I seem to be needing a lot of thinking of you cards lately.  I have several friends that really need a little pick-me-up and the only thing I know to do is send a handmade greeting card. 

Thinking of You

When I saw this card on Pinterest, I liked the simplicity of it.  Now I usually have a hard time with simple cards so I am not sure why I was attracted to this one.  I will probably send it to my friend that I have talked about before going through chemo.

Happy Birthday Dad

So if you thought the last card was still too girlie to send to a guy, then I think these two may be more to your liking.  The background is DSP from a retired set of Stampin' Up! papers.  I just picked two sections of two different papers to get the effect I wanted.  Today would have been Jim's dad birthday.  He has been gone for a long time but we still think of him on his special day.
