Blood Donor
Jim is a blood donor. This past week when he came home from donating, he gave me a sticker. It was in recognition of his donations. He has donated 60 gallons of blood to our local blood bank. Additionally, he has donated blood when he attended the Coast Guard Academy and has no record of how much he donated there. He also donated a pint when we were in New Mexico at the balloon festival because he wanted a special pin that was only for blood donors that day. Are you a blood donor? If you are, thank you for helping to save lives.

This post was a pre-arranged post before the Orlando tragedy. So many people in Florida and all over the country have lined up to donate blood for the wounded, many who still need surgery. Thank you for donations.
